Surfing Lessons
Maui Waveriders specialize in all levels from beginning to advance. The classes are two hours long and include all surf gear: rash guard, water booties and a surfboard. The lessons include an approximate fifteen minute land lesson on the basics of surfing, emphasizing water safety. The rest of the time is spent with an instructor in the water teaching the student how to catch their own waves along with some great surfing tips. After the class, the students can continue surfing on their own (providing there are boards available) **Stand-up Paddle Board Lessons available upon request.
Instructors are CPR/First Aid trained.

Group Price: Adult 13 years+ $60 Child (8-12)-$50 *One instructor to 5 students
Semiprivate: $85 1 instructor to 2-3 students
Private Lessons: $140 1 on 1 instruction
Private lessons suggested for children under 8 years of age.
Surfing Time: Kihei 7:30, 9:00, 10:00, 11:30
Private & Semi-Private Surf Lessons: Private surf lessons are 2 hours and offer the specialized attention.
Check-In (Kihei): 15-30 minutes prior to surf time at 1975 South Kihei Road in the Kihei Marketplace. Check-in at the MWR office located at the front of the property facing South Kihei Road adjacent to the 76 Gas Station. Check-In is 15-30min. prior to lesson time.
Parking: Free parking is available across the street in the Kalama Park parking lot.
Check-In (Lahaina): 15-30 minutes prior to surf time at 133 Prison Street.
Parking: Free 3 hour parking is available across the street from MWR shop. Additional paid parking is available at the corner of Shaw and Front Streets and under 505 Front Street Shops and Restaurants.
Terms & Conditions: Ticket prices and tours are subject to change without notice. All prices are per person and may be subjected to taxes, fuel surcharges, harbor fees, and 3% booking fees. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
